Wellness Center: Medication Assisted Treatment, Medication Management, and Medical Wellness

In addition to offering clinical counseling for substance use and mental health, it is vital to also address physical health and medical needs as part of a holistic approach to care. Our new Wellness Center at our Brownsburg Campus provides Medication Assisted Treatment for substance use disorder, Medication Management and prescribing services for psychiatric needs, and Medical Wellness visits for general physical health. Launched in early 2025, we are now accepting new patients.

Prevention/ Early Intervention Education

We believe that preventing substance use disorder starts with education focused on helping people develop the knowledge, attitudes, and skills they need to make good choices or change harmful behaviors. The Willow Center offers 3 prevention education classes on weekends: 16-Hour (Adults), 12-Hour (Youth), and 8-Hour (Adults). The classes include cutting-edge behavior change tools to help participants gain awareness of their current situation. Evidence-based techniques, including interactive journaling, are a part of this curriculum and provide the participants with preventative education related to any drug and alcohol use or misuse they have been involved in. Instructors are carefully trained to create an inclusive atmosphere that makes it safe for people to openly explore and deeply self reflect.

Continuing Care

Recovery requires a complete lifestyle change. One of the easiest ways to be successful is to have a great support network and to stay connected to those in the recovery community after treatment is complete. When a client completes the treatment program, we want them to be surrounded by others that support a drug and alcohol-free lifestyle. We believe that the opposite of addiction is connection, so it is important for people in recovery to have a community to thrive in. At The Willow Center, we want to help facilitate those deep, meaningful, and supportive relationships someone is going to need to maintain sobriety. Our Recovery and Empowerment Coordinator leads Alumni of our programs in staying engaged and finding ways to give back to their community.

Reentry Program in Hendricks County Jail

In Partnership with the Hendricks County Sheriff’s Office, our Reentry Program includes group counseling, peer recovery coaching, case management, life skills development, and connection to outpatient treatment upon release from incarceration. Similar programs across the United States have shown promising results in assisting inmates transition smoothly back into their communities, including higher sobriety rates and lower recidivism rates.
