Women’s Reentry Program Peer Coach & Case Manager
Certification / Licensure: CAPRC-I, CAPRC-II, CPRS
Education: Bachelor’s Degree required.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide individual and group skills development and coaching interventions within the Hendricks County Jail for incarcerated women who are nearing their release date.
- Assess and support clients who are experiencing the disease of addiction or a substance use disorder.
- Assess and support clients who are experiencing mental health difficulties such as depression, anxiety, or emotional dis-regulation.
- Adequately prepare clients for successful transition to life after incarceration, including warm referral for outpatient treatment services to continue their long-term recovery journey.
- Communicate effectively with criminal justice staff, clients, TWC clinicians, family members of clients, and other external providers.
- Display hospitality and care for clients, exhibiting a willingness to facilitate a meaningful and uniquely better experience for them.
- Maintain confidentiality for clients by abiding by all HIPAA and related privacy regulations.
- Exhibit commitment and dedication to practicing ethically and equitably.
- Learn and use company required software, such as Electronic Health/Medical Records, for regular timely documentation of sessions with clients.
- Ability to perform other assigned duties/tasks
Qualifications and Requirements
- Must have at least 2 years of previous clinical experience in the area of mental health and addictions, preferrably working with incarcerated or recently incarcerated individuals.
- Must be comfortable and competent in working with individuals who have experienced complex mental, emotional, or relational trauma.
- Must be familiar and comfortable with the criminal justice system.
- Must be comfortable speaking in front of a group, and leading small-group dynamics.
- Must have knowledge of Motivational Interviewing and Peer Coaching methods.
- Must be committed to fostering a culture of recovery as clients start their recovery journey.
- Must be well organized, be flexible, be patient, and be willing to learn.
- Must participate in and contribute to a positive team culture.
- Must be energetic, motivated, self-sufficient, creative, and reliable.
- Must complete and pass a full criminal background check and urine drug screen.
- Must possess basic First Aid and CPR certification, or be willing to get certified within 6 months of hire.
- Must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

- $44,000-$51,000 per year
