All of us across the country are facing these burdens together. We can empathize with each other and lift each other up in the darkest moments.

Even more importantly, there is help available for you! If you have never been to counseling, today is the day to call! If you have never tried therapy, today is the day to try. If you have never talked to a psychiatrist or medical doctor about mental health medication, today is the day to talk. If you have never connected with other people in your area who may be feeling similarly to you right now, today is the day to connect.

In Hendricks County alone, there are more than 40 different mental healthcare agencies (with multiple providers) and individual counselors, which can be easily found and connected with on the Hendricks County Health Partnership’s convenient online community resource guide: https://www.hendrickshealthpartnership.org/mental-health-and-counseling.html. When including the rest of the greater-Indianapolis and surrounding 8-county area, there are several hundred more options available. Most providers accept insurance, some accept Medicaid, and almost all provide some sort of self-pay option, as well. One thing is certain – every single counselor and therapist is eager and willing to help, however they can!
